Finally uploaded the first batch of pics for SakuraCon 2009, which includes most of Day 0 and Day 1 (combined) random cosplay (there were too few Day 0 pics to leave in it’s own gallery).

Also, photoshoots for Nadia: the Secret of Blue Water, Street Fighter, and Angel Sanctuary have been posted in the Photoshoots section!

I should have the remainder of Day 1’s random cosplay and photoshoots posted soon.

Working Out the Kinks…

Apparently, there were some residual internal issues that rendered the gallery portion of the site unavailable over the weekend. It took a bit of tinkering, but I think I’ve got them fixed - so the gallery’s up and running again (now I just need to finish hunting down broken links)!

FINALLY!!! Up and running again, and just in time for SakuraCon!

For the most-part I was able to restore the old site. Since I ended up manually rebuilding the site, you may notice some minor difference in the galleries.

Relaunching the site was delayed partly by my having to relocate pics to repost to the restored galleries, which has nailed home the need for me to do some housecleaning of my photo archives. That said, I still have some tweaking and cleanup that needs to be done to the site before I can resume working on improvements (e.g. fixing broken links).

Time: Start gathering at noon
Location: Edmonds waterfront (Brackett’s Landing / Edmonds Underwater Park)
Other Locations (may be used during the shoot): Downtown Edmonds, ferry to Kingston, Kingston

You’re invited to join Team Sakura as they host their 2nd annual Cosplay Parade as part of this year’s Chinatown Seafair Parade, taking place in Seattle’s International District!

Date: Sunday, July 20, 2008
Time: 5:00pm - 8:00pm
Meet-up Location: 10th and King St., Seattle, Washington

Although participation in the parade is open to all, please keep the following guidelines in mind if you plan to attend:

- Family Friendly costumes only please!
- No Full body/masked costumes. (i.e.: moogle suits, pikachu suits, etc.)
- If participation is high, similar cosplayers will be grouped into teams (ie, One Piece, Bleach, Final Fantasy, Naruto, Inu Yasha, etc.)
